Chicken Pickle
Ingredients
- 1 chicken, clean and cut into small pieces.
- 400 gms mustard oil (or seasame oil)
- 1 cup vinegar
Grind together:
- 8 garlic flakes
- 1 tsp ginger paste
- 3 onions
- 1 tbsp red chilli powder
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- Salt as per taste
Method:
Heat mustard oil in a pan till it smokes.
Fry the chicken pieces till golden brown.
Remove the chicken pieces and keep aside.
Now in the same oil put the grinded paste.
Simmer it for 5 minutes.
Add the chicken pieces.
Fry for 10 minutes.
Cool the spiced chicken pieces.
Add vinegar to it .
Store it a air-tight jar.
Use the pickle after a day.
