Chicken Pickle

    Ingredients
  1. 1 chicken, clean and cut into small pieces.
  2. 400 gms mustard oil (or seasame oil)
  3. 1 cup vinegar

  4. Grind together:

  5. 8 garlic flakes
  6. 1 tsp ginger paste
  7. 3 onions
  8. 1 tbsp red chilli powder
  9. 2 tsp turmeric powder
  10. Salt as per taste

Method:

  • Heat mustard oil in a pan till it smokes.
  • Fry the chicken pieces till golden brown.
  • Remove the chicken pieces and keep aside.
  • Now in the same oil put the grinded paste.
  • Simmer it for 5 minutes.
  • Add the chicken pieces.
  • Fry for 10 minutes.
  • Cool the spiced chicken pieces.
  • Add vinegar to it .
  • Store it a air-tight jar.
  • Use the pickle after a day.
